Effect of herbal and immunomodulatory supplements on growth performance and meat quality in broilers

This study aimed to evaluate the effect of herbal and immunomodulatory die-tary supplements their combinations on growth performance, slaughter traits meat quality in male broiler chickens. A total 210 one-day-old Ross 308 chickens were randomly distributed after weighing 7 groups (3 replicates each, n=10 chickens). Broilers reared deep litter until 42 days age divided as follows: Group I – control (basal diet without supplements); II supple-mented with 0.2% Immunoßeta; III supplemented garlic powder; IV mix (0.05% ginger, 0.05% rosemary, thyme yarrow); V Immunoßeta + VI mix; VII powder mix. At end experiment, weighed from 2552±54 g (Group I) 2689±55 IV) statistically significant differences (Р>0.05). Feed conversion varied 1.64 tо 1.74 I). Meat pH, water holding ca-pacity, absorption capacity, tenderness not influenced by dietary supplement type. All used did show an adverse health, no mortality was found experimental groups. The obtained results a clear trend towards positive feed additives combination mainly fattening characteristics chickens, evident higher values two efficiency indices.
